don't worry an apple phone will not be crap like all the phones in the US. I reckon they will be queuing up in Japan for the iphone, much like they queued up when the first apple store opened in ginza. I dunno maybe they like queues there...

for me, i'm looking forward to:

- awesome multi-touch user interface. i never liked interfaces on current phones, so i stuck with my ancient nokia... nothing out there like multi-touch yet
- 3d itunes cover flow - on a phone!!
- will sync with my mac seamlessly.
- Google maps on a phone + satellite view - i'll never get lost again
- widescreen video - i suppose it's cool for showing off. i like the fact that it senses the orientation your holding the phone and changes the display to match.
- surfing soompi anywhere haha

i'm just figuring how much i will spend on ebay to get this sucker... $1000 is the max at the moment. mmm maybe $1500...

It looks good design wise, but I will not be considering this phone because:

1. Costs way too MUCH.
2. They only show the front? What about the back?
3. Battery life is a major factor. If that sucks then the phones sucks.
4. Will it have good reception?

PLUS

I don't need all those extra features on a freaking phone.
