This is my last year in high school and my parents are making me learn how to drive. blush.gif
I know most kids are supposed to look forward to this, but I hate the idea of driving down streets where I can run into any type of driver ranging from drunk drivers to road rage drivers. tears.gif mellow.gif unsure.gif wacko.gif

crazy.gif Although I'm going to hate driving, I can't eschew my "responsibilties." Haha... so basically: I need to figure out what type of car I'm going to drive. I'm one of those people that take forever to reach a decision... so I need to start researching years ahead..

Most people are recommending I purchase a Honda Civic/Accord since I'm a (VERY) short Korean girl... and that's the stereotype or something. T_T

I don't know anything about cars, so I'm open to any and all advice!
I want to learn everything about cars (or at least as much as I can) before I buy them. Best engines, etc, whatever, I don't know the criteria to judge a car yet.

Stay safe, drive a Volvo. Crash test ratings now are average with other cars, but as a Volvo owner myself, and knowing a whole community of Volvo owners, I can tell you one thing, there is no typical car accident. Whats conducted in a goverment crash test site, is not the same as the real world, its always different. Volvo does excell in the real world, and i've seen it first hand (many times).

I would recommend a Volvo S40, compact, very comfy and luxurious at the same time, reliable, and fun to drive (yes, it will make you want to drive it more!). If a used car is the issue, then I can recommend a S70.... nice car all around, a newer version of my 850.
