I think they didn't sing the theme for 'Smile' as well because 'Smile' and 'The Quiz Show' are shown on different TV stations and a Double A-side single for theme songs to two dramas on technically-competing rival TV stations would be a bit tricky...

truth/kaze no mukou e had a tie-in with both TBS and NTV as well, but kaze no mukou e wasn't for a drama, so...and did anyone notice how last year whenever NTV reported about the truth/knme single, they ALWAYS showed the KNME pv instead of the truth one? And at Best Artist last year (an NTV show), they performed the 'no.1 hit of the year' as announced by the host, but it was KNME and not truth. And TBS (which aired Maou) always talked about truth and never KNME.
So it seems the tv stations do mind about these sort of things, not wanting to 'promote' for their rivals?

Pure conjecture on my part, though!

'Smile' seems like the kind of drama which would work well without an Arashi theme song, or it might be 'Let it Be' playing during the cms that has made me think of it as the perfect theme song for the drama, even though it isn't XD

Also, I stumbled across comments somewhere where people were saying stuff like the only reason why Arashi's singles sell so well is because they keep on releasing Double-A-side singles with tie-ins with all the popular dramas/movies/Olympics. So part of me does want to prove them wrong that they can sell well with a single-A-side one too. The new single won't sell as much as Believe/KnK, but it'll probably sell around the level of Beautiful Days, which sold very well too despite having only 2 versions.

The AAA in tokyo concert DVD is a really good one to own. So worth it to have. The set list was good, the staging was really awesome. Plus Arashi in a concert is always enjoyable. Best of all the costumes were good nothing too JE'ish that would make you cringe.

The LE are already sold out at CD Japan & HMV... I guess I have to settle for the regular version... AGAIN. I wish JE would produce more of the LE or be like Avex and release 3 different versions... It's not like people aren't going buy Arashi CDs if it's not a LE.

jamaians, sorry to hear your youtube account got deleted. Japanese copyright laws are really strict. But honestly, I think the fans who upload Arashi vids on YT, Veoh and etc... are helping Arashi, not hurting them. I wouldn't have become a fan of Arashi if I didn't get a chance to watch their variety shows, live performances, dramas and so forth on streaming sites. Now, I'm a huge fan of Arashi and I buy every single thing that they release~ I own all of Arashi CD & DVD releases from the past 2, 3 years. And I know that a lot of Japanese people who live in different regions of Japan or Japanese people who live abroad are unable to watch Arashi variety shows, i.e. VS Arashi- which are only shown in the Kanto/Tokyo region, so having those shows uploaded on streaming sites help spread Arashi exposure and allow Japanese people to watch shows that they are otherwise unable to. Sometimes, I just feel that they take the copyright thing too far.

Thank you for visiting my veoh channel. But my laptop crashed so I won't be able to upload anything for a while until it get fixed. Hopefully, someone else will upload Arashi vids, variety shows on Veoh/YT. But yeah, I'm praying that my Veoh account doesn't get deleted . I used to live in Japan a few years back- Tokyo to be exact, but now I'm back in the US. Tokyo is my all time favorite city, there is no other place like it. I wish I was back there though. Are you living in Japan?

aniwae welli just got this tot of opening an Arashi international forum...a forum where we can all call our own...we can share vids, infos, news, music, pics...etc...for all Arashi fans...well i know is very difficult and hectic cos i actualli an admin for one forum here in Sinagpore...but yea if we all can contribute then i just this forum can be a success and be well recognized by all...
