Hmm.. none of the Vietnamese people at my school even listen to any "asian" music. It's all American for them.
Didn't a few Korean men sing in Vietnamese, also? They were pretty good
So I guess it can be vice versa~

^ theres a Korean group called V4Men and they's all koreans but they sing in Vietnamese
they debuted in Vietnam with their whole album in Vietnamese

i think i can kinda answer ur question there.
as u kno, Korean music, movies, dramas hav been really popular in all over Asia: China, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand ect.
Vietnam is one of those countries. Vietnamese that are American born dun really know about Korean music cuz as i can see most of them are Americanized but theres still sum that are very Asians. and those that are so Asians they would go on forums like soompi to get to kno more about Korean music. and since we love it so much we wanna try singing the songs.

language so i also listen to korean music. hmmmm also, french music. and finally. i don't know

i think the reason viet people like korean music is because it's becoming international
and plus, to add to that, there are no good viet singers
