I notice my back is kind of curved if i dont conciously try to make it straight.... even then it looks weird coz it looks like im puffing my chest out or something
is there any way for my to improve my posture so it will normally sit straight?

work on your core (stomach, back muscles), once you strengthen your core, your posture will naturally straighten.

my slouching got pretty bad so my dad bought me one of these things

yeah i think it's mostly for older people with serious back problems, but it still helped me correct my posture and awareness of my own slouching. i should start using it again

If you sit on an office chair, I suggest you put a pillow behind your back ^^ That's what I do and it does help. Also, you might want to adjust you chair a bit, so when you sit, your eyes are facing the top of your computer screen when you look straight.

I hold my hands together behind my back, fingers pointing upwards, touching the middle of my back. I can feel my shoulders pull back. I do while walking on the treadmill sometimes. It really keeps me from slouching

Get one of those big exercise balls and substitute it for your chair. For example, instead of sitting at your desk while you're on your computer on a chair, you will sit on the ball. Because you have to work on your balance by sitting on the ball, your posture will naturally improve. It's worked for a whole bunch of my friends.
