so today my boyfriend was drivng in the f-d up weather we've been having in wa.... and his car slid and hit the curb super hard.....


this was the result:

his steering wheel is straight but his tire is still like that... he didn't drive it homebecuase it was too hard to drive.. do you think his rim is messed? or his axil o_o

turns out his rods were messed up =/ its fixed but his poor rims ... gashed =/ his poor metal rims

It could be the axle, ball joint, steering column, etc etc. The rim is not messed. The rim is the metallic object that holds the tyre. Bring it to a mechanic as it can get dangerous.

^ yeah he's planning to but he left it at a parking lot he can't drive it he has no idea how to get it back home since he has a long ass drive way o_O

looks to me that his alignment is just off now, happen to my friend before. but as choister said it could be a variety of things and you should get it checked out.

you'd be better off calling a tow truck to move it. rims don't bend that much so it has the be the suspension. what part, i don't know.

anyway, were you guys having fun in the snow? i was having fun with a couple friends. we had a couple incidents of knocking the curb and one incident of nailing the curb so hard, it actually dismounted his tire which was fixed for free.

i wasn't with him... ihaventeven seen him since hte snow came down i've been at home =/ i hate this weather i dont like snow so much i get cold really fast and liek freeze so i dont go outside when its like this

looks like it's just an alignment problem, but like Chioster said, it's best to get a mechanic to check it out.

I had the exact same thing happen to my old focus, my axle got john teshed up and ended payin out like 800 bucks CDN. So for sure its the axle

pics of that area with the wheel off would be of great help to your bf and us
cuz that way we can see what's really broken

I would also have a tow truck come by and get it as many people who have busted cars get jacked

yep his dad drove it home it was hard but they did it =o they will tow it somewhere tommorrow o_o to have it looked at i'll try to get more pics tommorrow when i see him =D
