LG Debuts its Prada Phone

LG Electronics unveiled Thursday its new LG-KE850 �Prada Phone,� a multimedia handset developed with the premium Italian fashion brand.
The Prada-branded device features a large 3-inch touchscreen with no keypad. It also features an MP3 player, a 2-megapixel camera, a leather case and screen protection film.

Unlike some ultra-exclusive phones developed with fashion labels, the Prada phone is aimed at the upper end of the mass market, putting it in the "masstige" category. It will hit shelves in Britain, France, Germany and Italy in February for around 600 eruos or W750,000.
The handset will go on sale in Korea from the second quarter of the year as it must be fitted out for the local code division multiple access (CDMA) system. Europe uses the global system for mobile communications (GSM) system.

holy crap thats SLIM..
does it have a similar keypad like the chocolate phone? coz a bit of chocolate phone's keypad is ULTRA sensitive.. i dont like that ==

i love the design of it, although a bit on the wide side.
i love the 2mp camera & huge touchscreen though

i'd buy it if it's under $1000

That looks hot O_O it seems like every company is coming out with a touch screen phone after apple unveiled it's iphone. There'll be a lot to select from in probably half a year's time so i think i'll wait=]

i wouldn't underestimate the user interface on the iphone. That is what will make the difference.

The screen has a lower resolution than the iphone.

i read about this in the paper a couple days ago~ it's supposed to compete with the apple "iphone" - assuming they'll win the legal battle for the name

Touchscreen isn't a new technology. There's been a few touchscreen phones before the iphone.

The prada phone would probably cost more than a grand.

Oh Lord.

The phone doesn't look the pretty, and I'm assuming that some people are buying the phone just because it's "Prada".. I'm going to get So annoyed at this phone because of the touch screen and the screen protector might not last long since i keep my phone in my pockets most of the time and pulling it in and out of my pocket.

and, is there ANYONE whose planning to get this phone NOT because of it's "hotness"?
