Any Things I Need To Do Before I Go In And Take The Permit Test In New York

Like in florida you have to take a 4 hour alchol driving course or something before you can actually take the driving permit test. Does anyone know if I have to do anything of that sort in New York or can I just go in and take the test and not expect to hit one of those roadblocks ? This is for car and motorcycle by the way.

i don't think permit test requires driving.
