There is this realllly hot guy in two of my classes (hot guys are really rare to see since I go to a really really nerdy school). He sat diagonal from me in class today and I noticed he was doing homework from our other class on his laptop. So I tapped his arm (omg, I shocked me because as soon as I tapped it all I felt was muscle - he has a really nice body - Ive seen him shirtless.. LOL no im not a stalker. we live in the same dorm- Ive seen him walking around a couple of times) and I asked him if he was in [name of class] and he says "yeah" and i was like "are you in my class?" (wahaha I already knew he was...) and so we talked a little about the homework since it was a lecture class i couldnt bug him more, but oh well! One step further , but at least know he knows I exist!

So, would you talk to a hot guy/girl in your class? How about if you just see them around campus?

If I didnt have a common class with them, I would never work up the nerve to go up to a hot guy...

Yeah, so I went to his room to ask him for help on our online homework/to check my answers~ and it took a little while because he had to teach me a bit of it. but it was all fun. hahaha. my friends think i'm crazy. but he's really the only one i can ask to help me. (my roommate's even worse than i am at chemistry >_<) and today he sat RIGHT next to me in class (he usually sits a couple seats down from me or in front) Teeheehehehehehehehe. Sorry. I'm kinda giggly about this~ and I found out he's really nice and funny too~!! and that he takes Chinese (cough cough I'm Chinese~) but he's not even Asian~ Wahaha maybe he'll ask me for help

And she might have noticed that I exist in one class... but I doubt she knows im in the other one.
but zero courage to try to talk... I plotted, anticipated, thought about it... but when it comes to opening my mouth I defeat myself mentally before I even try >_<

A lot of my course work this year requires group work. And since there are several people taking the same major as I am (Honours English Degree), I have some people that I end up taking all my classes with. I don't usually talk to them until we're put into the same group. Then they (or sometimes I) will casually mention that we're in a bunch of the same classes.

Without groupwork, I probably wouldn't talk to a lot of people in classes.

it's kind of hard in a large class cuz you don't have assigned seating of some sort..so everyday i sit somewhere different. so, in a 300 student class/lecture..theres gotta be several hot girls right? anyways i still havent got the courage to spark up a conversation with a random hot girl i dont know..the day will come..i know it haha i still got 3 and a half years of college left..wee maybe cuz of this thread.. ill actually try on monday

there's this hot guy i saw every once and a while at my bus stop when going to school in the morning last quarter...

now i don't see him on the bus but i found out he's in one of my classes... but my class has about 200 + people and he always sits in the side section while i sit in the center with my friends....

i don't have enough courage to talk to him

haha thats a good way to introduce yourselves. Way to be brave. Since you are in the same classes it shouldn't be too hard to get to know eachother unless your classes are just huge.

if he's with a friend or something then NO, i'm too chicken haha. but if he's in class alone, and he looks approachable then i'd go for it!

there was a hot guy in one of my classes last year and i tried sitting next to him, but somebody would always sit on the chair i was saving for him or something hahaha. it got pretty frustrating so i STOPPED. and when i did, the next day he was the one who approached me! XD eventually he was one of my 2 closest friends in that class~

I go to an all-guy school, so there aren't any girls in my classes...there's this one hot teacher though.
Although I've taken courses at a community college during the summer, I haven't seen any beautiful girls.
But I think if I saw one, I'd talk to her.

There's this one hot guy in my calculus class...but everybody seems to always sit in the same seats during lecture for some reason. But I see him every calc class, and I would talk to him if I sat closer, and make a new friend.

aww, you are courageous. i wanted to talk to some hot guy in my english class. over time, we both ended up sitting next to each other, but i was too shy to talk to him. i would plot and plan what i would say to him, but chicken out when he`s there. i kinda regret it now. but i hope i will be able to talk to a hot guy. man, if you think the person is hot, it makes everything more difficult. hahah.

of course i do! but i try to do it within the first week of classes.
i scan the class for cute guys and make a mental note to sit near them.
once it's into the semester...everybody gets situated into their seats...
so it's awkward if you suddenly move your seat.

i guess the awkward-ness all depends on how you approach the other person... if you sit near that person, maybe you could ask him/her a question about the class? maybe something you dont understand? and after a couple of times maybe if you see this person outside of class you could go "hey are you that person in my class?"... haha i dont know if that would work, but it seems like it should.
