^ Please dont break the 20 character rule. It may be a petty rule, but it is still a rule. You will be warned next time.
In regards to the OP,
I've used EVDO (Internet cards) from both Verizon and Sprint. My suggestion for you is to avoid the internet card all together. Get a phone that can be used as a EVDO modem for your laptop. It also comes out like 20 buck cheaper than getting a dedicated laptop card. Last I checked Sprint provideds this functionality on all their capable phones whereas Verizon is either limiting the function on some of their models or not "officially" supporting the function alltogether. In terms cellular broadband service, both companies offer similar performance. At least this is the case in my area (NY) where cellular carriers are constantly trying to keep up with each other and the customer market is huge. Ideally, you should check reviews and/or opinions from your local area.

i agree with dot1g, my uncle works for a wireless phone company and says that it's much more convenient to use a phone with an evdo connection rather than use those cards, also, the cost of the cards isn't that low, especially the more recent ones from verizon that cost up to 180?
