what mobo? you did a winflash from vista? haha that's probably the cause. I reckon it's a goner. plus you probably voided the warranty.

Go back to Fry's where you got the mobo (I think), go buy another ECS P-965T-A mobo then a few days later go return your toasted mobo and say "what a POS mobo, it won't boot" and get your money back. Problem solved. Then next time, flash your BIOS from a floppy disk. It's always more risky flashing from within windows.

Edit: Actually, since you're within the 15 or 30 day return policy, do an exchange... just don't tell them it was cuz it got screwed cuz of flashing. Tell them it was DOA.

My first reaction is "what serial numbers"?

Just return it with your old box. But since you're within their return policy, it's a mute point. Just do an exchange and say it's DOA. They won't question it since a lot of ECS boards get returned all the time. The countless openbox ECS mobo's lying around are a testament to that. When they hear it's DOA, they'll just do an RMA back to the manufacturer.

Yep... new one, put old one in.

Although if its the same identical board.. you can just pull the bios from the new board and stick the new bios in the old one.

some bios have master backup still... they are like multilayered and will default back to the original sometimes. did you try to reset the bios and/or remove the battery?

I think getting another mobo would be easier...
We all wear masks. Everyone, everyday... sometimes we wear them so much, we forget who we really are. And sometimes if we're lucky, someone comes along and shows us who we really want to be, who we should be.

Tumblrrr.
