dont know if this was made before. delete if needed.

anyways... im doing international studies/ politics in college now.
my 2nd year.

two times this week i got two strangers supporting me in becoming someone helpful to society.

on wednesday at chior a lady asked me my info... told her.
told me that was so good and got really shocked (maybe cause im... aisan rolleyes.gif hehehhee! joking).
and that i should make them boys work for the office!
she was an elderly lady. sweet.

thursday. sat next to a COMPLETE stranger in a discuss seminar thing.
she joked with me about asking this one cute guy to sit next to me.
(she's was the coolest stranger you could meet, even offered her lap to a boy because
there was no seats.. and she knew that i was gonna give a 'huh?' look... she expected that. she was kool.)
then asked my info. told her.
supported me in doing politics.
she gave me info about the next seminar next month and i told her that i might try to go...
and she was like.... 'i better see you there!'
she was so supportive of me even though she didnt know me.

these things that happened really encouraged me.
i dont like it when people's effort and support for me go to waste. i will use and remember them well.
i really appreciate everything!

any of you have encouraging stories/ways to share????
it'll make you feel better.

Awwwww...

I have a couple of people in my mind that has shaped who I am now.

I can't share the story because it's really personal but I consider them as my mentors.

One of them's an Architect that first taught me everything about architecture in high school. He introduced me to a lot of architects in the Seattle area and at the end of my senior year in high school, I was offered an apprenticeship from a small firm that his friend owns and he used to work with. My passion and philosophy is pretty similar to that of his and I really don't know where I would be if I hadn't met him.

Another's my polisci professor. He's so different from other instructors and professors that I'm used to. He has taught me so much from politics to just being who I am. He's given me so much support and advices throughout the years, I can't thank him enough.

I've also recently met a couple of lawyers from where I frequent for dinner. We've exchanged informations and they're willing to give me advices if I ever decide to change my major from Architecture to Law. It helps that they're both alumnis from my school and former greeks themselves.

A lot of nice people in our society, you just need to be open to any conversation, it may lead you to somewhere. smile.gif
