PEACH GIRL ; 蜜桃女孩 ; MI TAO NU HAI

Based on the shoujo manga by Miwa Ueda this is a story about jealousy, revenge, the powers of love and friendship and the ties of fate that bind people together.

Xiao Tao is a young girl entering college. Things just don't seem to be going right for her. She falls at the beach and spraining her ankle as well as unwittingly makes the university's reigning princess, Sha Hui, her enemy. Dong Si, her secret crush, doesn't seem to know of her feelings, but she has the school's most popular and troublesome playboy, Ah Li, showering her with his attentions! This may prove to be just too much for the tall, shy and athletic Xiao Tao until suddenly happiness comes her way: she and Dong Si begin dating! This happiness is short lived as the calculating Sha Hui is determined to be the number one girl, even if it means destroying Xiao Tao in the process. Also, standing on the sidelines is Ah Li who has made it known that the only girl for him is Xiao Tao.

Can Dong Si and Xiao Tao manage to keep their relationship afloat? Will Sha Hui succeed in her devious plans? Or will Xiao Tao realise that the one that is truly for her is Ah Li?

My first and favorite manga is Peach Girl! <3 I started watching this, but haven't gotten around to finishing it yet....I'm on like ep. 3...it's okaaaaaaay. =/ I think Vanness looks cute in this one, and a cute Kiley character..hehe. I'm glad it doesn't totally stick to the manga, so it's interesting to watch the little changes they have.^^

I've watched the anime, DAM THATS SOME SERIOUS DRAMA RIGHT THERE. Even then, I enjoyed it ahaha. I love Okayasu, don't know whats his name in here though.

Maybe I should give this drama shot.

I watched this a couple of years back. I didn't really like annie wu & kenji, but it was an alright drama. however, I will always remember this drama because I loved the ending so much. probably the best ending ever compared to other twdramas. if you've watched this before, you probably know why I like it so much vanness was really sweet in this drama too. & if you're curious, the reason I liked the ending so much is because: the second lead got the girl after doing so much for her. so basically, annie chose vanness over kenji at the end, I was so happy because in like every single drama, the two main leads ALWAY end up together regardless of how many sweet things the second male lead does for the girl. =)

I watched this for one reason: Vanness Wu. Otherwise, this was a rather poor production. The songs are pretty good, though. Eh, I kind of thought Annie Wu was rather old for the character of Momo.

the main reason i watched was because of Vanness..he's so cute in peach girl
also his character in the drama is very cute and sweet, especially for Xiao Tao (annie wu)

and very funny when he found out that it was a guy life guard who rescued him instead of Xiao Tao.. hahha

yeah i liked the manga and this tw-drama was not bad..it was the first tw-drama i ever watched.. vanness was cute as always ..but i think the girl who played Xiao Tao should be prettier..she looked not that special.

i agree with you i love the ending if this drama as well. not just because of the reason you stated but just the ending scene.
it was too cute and soo sweet. " i turned the rumor into truth", i love that line

ahhhh, huge fan of the manga!
i tried watching this - like one episode -
and i couldn't get through it.

the girl who plays momo wasn't outrageously
pretty like i imagined her to be, but.
i don't know, maybe i'll try watching this again sometime. XD

Watched this drama years ago when it came out.. Vanness really carried out the character well.
