i think right now it would be andy lau because shiwon was in his movie hahahaa orrrrrr stephen chow cuz of his werid movies hahahhaa

You're asking who's the most famous CHINESE celebrity in KOREA correct? As in who is of Chinese ethnicity that is famous in Korea. In that case, it would probably be Hankyung/Han Geng not Shiwon. Shiwon is a popular Korean celeb in CHINA. He would not be the most popular though because a lot of Korean stars are very popular in China. H.OT. still remain supreme, followed closely by Shinhwa and DBSK. Hankyung was ranked #4 and I believe Jaejoong was #2...I know that all of the DBSK boys made it in the top 10 and most of Shinhwa and etc. were in there somewhere as well. Chinese celebs have not really entered into the Korean industry officially until pretty recent...or they haven't been very successful. Hankyung would probably be the first truly loved one and since JangRiin came out, her too.

Vanness is Taiwanese but he came out with a single with Kangta and that made him pretty famous too.

mm HOT's not really popular in China, but Kangta is. Most famous chinese celeb in Korea... not exactly sure, but I know Leslie Cheung had a lot of fans. There were a few restaurants in Korea dedicated to him, and at the time of his death, there were over 100,000 fans that went to the temple to pray for him.

I guess Jerry Yan is pretty popular too

tokawaii - i think you still have it the other way around...i think she means chinese celebrities outside of Korea who have fans IN Korea...and out of those who is the most popular...

I know that Hacken Lee just had a Seoul concert there not too long ago and i heard the turn out wasn't bad... and i watched a Asia concert held in Seoul and Leon Lai seem to have quite a few fans... he even sang one of his songs in Korean for his Korean fans.

Andy Lau didn't get popular just 'cause ShiWon was in the movie with him. Andy already had a good amount of fans in Korea, I think I remember reading somwhere that Andy had his concert in Korea a long time ago.

i think some people got me wrong... lol i meant like Most Popular CHINESE celebrity in korea....... like tons of korean fans for this person ....... lol ..........

about the Haken thing... he came out with an album that was recorded in seoul but i dunt think it was an actual concert?? but it was recorded at a concert hall... but no concert?

and yah i wasn't wondering korean celebs popularity in china...........

not really sure.. but my korean friend's pretty obsessed with Jacky Cheung. o__o; lol. she likes his cantonese movies and such.. and i guess Stephen Chow too.

i think stephen chow is pretty popular cuz i see in k-dramas the characters actually watch a stephen chow movie! (one of them is 'Snow White', i think there are a couple more others, but i can't recall the name)

i'll reckon jackie chan is too.... lol

and ya vanness for his collaboration with kangta, and he was also in a movie with kim hyun joo

I don't think Chinese celebraties are that popular in Korea, but Andy Lau is probably well known and of course Hankyung and Jang Ri In xD

I'm not claiming to be an expert or anything, but I'm guessing that right now Chinese celebrities aren't that popular. Maybe a decade ago, I'm sure many of them were though, I mean, among the generation before us. I think Jackie Chan was pretty popular and he was well-received when he visited Korea. I dunno, that's what my friend told me.

^probably they know F4, but they're not into it. .__.; my friend didn't really talk about F4 being a fad in Korea. (i asked her abt the fads and stuff.. lol) even Japanese related things..
