Hi,
what version of the ipod software do you have? If you open up itunes and click on your ipod it should tell you what the software version is. The latest version is 1.2.1. One way to fix things could be to reset the ipod - if you've got your ipod synched with your PC then you won't loose anything but if not, i wouldn't recommend the reset.
As for playing videos on your ipod, you need to make sure they are within the correct specifications:
If that makes any sense... If jodix isn't working properly try using Videora.

I'm on a mac so I don't really know how well this works. let me know what happens!

what was this odd reason? Did you manage to download it?
Here's a direct link that works: http://download.videohelp.com/~pspvideo9/V...ter_Install.exe
It appears to download some extra required bits from Microsoft so you need to be online. I installed it into a virtual install of Windows with no problems.
It might be worth while if you send me a copy of one of the videos that don't work on your ipod so I can find out what's wrong with it. I can PM you login details for my online webspace to upload to, or you could megaspace it etc. up to you if you want to try.
