You are the one is a story of National Statistics Office employee, Sally Malasmas (Toni Gonzaga), who applies for US Visa and gets denied. What is unusual however is that she gets the chance to meet again the dashing and handsome vice-consul, Will Derby (Sam Milby), who denies her visa and gets even with him. This, obviously gets her into trouble and brings these two opposing characters to a hilarious yet poignant journey that leads to romance.

You are the one explores the insanities that comes with love, the impossibilitis to be hurdled to make love happen and the self-confidence we all need to make love work.

i'm a filipino-american, and i watch filipino movies from time to time, but i actually need eng. subtitles cuz i don't understand (one of my regrets..)
i watched you are the one, & i loved it! filipino movies can be really good.& when my auntie told me that they were dating in real life, i was like 'awww, that's so cute!'

i watched u r the one in the theatre..i believe it was $12 for each person..i liked the movie maybe becoz i haven't seen a filipino movie shown in us theatre in my life..i remember a lot of us girls were so "kilig" watching the movie hehehe

I LOVE LOVE this movie. I watched it at the theaters..2 times in the same weekend LOL Thats $24 and I have the dvd too which I have lost count how many times I have watched it. Its one of my favorite Filipino movies and it seems everyone thinks so coz it was considered one of the best films of 2006. I cannot wait for their new movie.

I am confused I like Sam-Tin but I also like Luis-Tin LOL

Sam is even more good-looking in person. Saw him when he had a concert in L.A.
