did you have alot of acne before? or was it just a little? also.. when you switched from Aveeno to Bio Oil.. was there any withdrawal symptoms? Like breaking out even more after you stopped using Aveeno, etc?

So it's been helping acne more than the scars? Cuz right now, I have no acne, just some scars....I want them gone! I've been using Mederma, which has helped a bit...

Wow i actually went to targets in my area. I could not find it. I dont think we stock this product in Adelaide (Australia). So depressing. I would love to give this product a try just to clear out pimples here and there. sad.gif

Back guys! Alrighty, it's been about a little over a week and most, if not all, of the bumps on my face have become smooth. I think that some of my acne has gone away but not a dramatic amount. My blemishes haven't faded much, but I have faith in this. I'll keep you guys posted, as usual. Good luck (:

i have tried soooo many things and none really worked out for me. i tried clean and clear, neutrogena, even proactive, avene, and now, im using clinique and uhm, st ives apricot scrub too. so far, the clinique treatment worked.
but after seeing your pictures, now i want to try aveeno. i'll see what works better.

-I had a lot of acne before, mostly on my lower jaw line and cheeks and such. I had more blemishes than acne though. Oh, I didn't switch from Aveeno to Bio Oil, I switched from Bio Oil to Aveeno~ I didn't experience any withdrawl symptoms like breaking out after I stop using Aveeno though (I got lazy because of school work, so I stopped using it for a week or so and my skins' been just fine). The blemishes don't come back from discontinued use :3

-Yah, they don't have this product in Australia. I got a few PMs about it and am sending out one to a soompier in Australia right now ^^

-It doesn't matter what type of cleanser you use! I use this really weird japanese one--I posted a picture of it up in the previous posts--and it works just fine :3 But maybe if you also use the Clear Complexion face wash by Aveeno it'll work better? I don't know~

Thanks everyone biggrin.gif

hey peechier, sorry, this is slightly off topic, but i was wondering if you had/have problems with scarring? and if so, what products did you use to deal with the scars?

-I do have problems with scarring. Um I bought Bio-Oil because it's suppose to treat scars, but I didn't see results so I stopped using it. I think I was just impatient because I wanted nice skin for Winterformal and I think Bio-Oil takes longer to work *shrug*. The Aveeno sort of helps with the scar, since it minimizes redness. But I do exfoliate my skin regularly and I think microdermabrasions help too? (sorry if I mispelled that ^^)

I've heard numerous times on soompi that St. Ives Apricot scrub is really harsh on your skin and it's not that good for you. A little off topic, but I think it's important lol. =/

Do you get any of those big red bumps (papules) that aren't whiteheads and stick around while? I tend to get those more than actual pimples.
