*shrugs* perhaps he's a friend?
but "papa to the mountains, mama to the river" it should mean that they've divorced =/

I personally don't trust most things on wikipedia and until its confirmed in a Miyavi interview I wouldn't think much of it.
i'm sure of that..the gaddess thing..and miyavi is always using words that guys shouldn't use... i can't explain it.. i forgot what it was...
i looked it up..TAROU-kun is the equivalent of 'Bob'...ahah.. 'i'm sorry bob'. TxT
JapaneseObesession: you are right..that's definitely reasonable...about his mom and his dad being in different landscapes.

maybe he was just apologizing to anyone. Like any other person he thinks he might've disappointed or someone he might've forgotten, or doesn't want to mention (ID protection!!

There was a site that had the translation to this song and notes on it. Some of the lines he uses come from Japanese proverbs/tales. Especially the one about the mountain and river. I'll have to see if I can find that site again.

okay..that piece of music..is officially..saddening..
and when he asks 'hey mommy hey daddy why did you have sex?; (he doesn't say it in the song..but its muted out..)
maybe he's questioning his existence.
the title of his recently released photobook is also in his "hitachi kinenbi" song..

miyavi is pretty deep, but it kinda makes me sad when he gets serious.

yeah....his 'funky monkey vibration' is pretty sweet too.. ^w^=
here's one to chill your bones..
miyavi's 'coin locker baby' has a story behind it..
"Coin Lockers Baby is actually a ghost story in Japan. It goes like this: A woman became pregnant by her lover who abruptly left her. She gave birth to the baby, but abandoned it in a coin locker of a train station. Several years later, she had to deliver some documents to a company near the station. Hesitating, she walked by the coin locker. A little boy was sitting there and sobbing. But, strangely, people were just walking by the boy without paying any attention. The woman asked the boy, "What's the matter?" He gave her no answer. "Where is your father?" "I don't know," said the boy still sobbing with his head down. "Where is your mother?" The boy looked up at her, said "Here," and then quickly vanished." (also from masa karasu)
sad story..does miyavi feel abandoned..and that's why he wrote a song to the story...
i can imagine a visual for this story...i don't wanna listen to the song anymore..because in the beginning..there's a baby crying like it's drowning...TxT

hhmmm... if miyavi made a song like that then did he feel like kind of neglected? i mean somewhere under his post thing he put something about a latchkey kid, the latchkey kid thing was his sign after that post thing......hmm...miyavi is confusing.

I don't like it when people talk about how strange his lyrics can be, because they're all based upon himself, and that's like calling him the bizarre kid
which is most definitely rude. Any person would feel that way after going through what he's been through ><

he's absolutely unique..
but what i meant was that the song scares me now because i know the story behind the title.
and i'm sorry that you feel that way.. but.. its just my opinion....and that's just me...and those are just things i find scary.
