haha xD I totally agree. Miyavi is definitely unique. It's sort of like, he went into the music storage room, took something from every box and mixed it in to make himself xD

It's one of the reasons he's so cool. The others being he has a unique voice, insane guitar skills, is nice to fans, and manages to look great no matter what crime to fashion he committed.

even though i don't really like the PV, i think it's amazing how versatile miyavi is! i think he can do any genre of music and still be awesome...not to mention he can wear the gayest looking clothing and still pull it off. i like that miyavi dabbles in every kind of music and style because it just shows how talented he is :)

as for the dancing and the "whores", i think it's kind like miyavi saying, "everyone, look what i learned in LA!" XD. i mean he's wearing the exact same outfit that he wore at jrock revolution. i love those nasty arse hot pink pants...

yes. i agree with you. and its not like i don't like his new song or anything... i actually DO like it, i just really do not like his new pv... it's like everything in the US. thats my own opinion, you guys can keep thinking whatever you're thinking.

referring to miyavi's earlier journal entries.. he seems very nervous around women..i can't be sure of the real miyavi..but i don't think he'd 'bump and grind' with girls..maybe he COULD..like how he did in the LA club for his FIRST SHOW IN THE U.S..ahhaha..the closest thing would be like in the video 'senor senora senorita'.. but the video reminds me of an 80's hip hop and rock music video... his performance itself reminds me of that too!

i also can NOT wait for his new release.. :3 .. miyavi's gone so far.. *squeeling

I agree...and I think it's great. And I hope it gives other bands the courage to keep their visual style. I mean not that I mind if they change...what I wanted to say, was that maybe Meevers can do something to rid VK of it's rather negative image.

(for example me--i thought they were scary).. and turn it into a marilyn manson perspective.. but i think miyavi is trying to do something with it... seeing as how he's becoming recognized by international fans..he probably wants to change that. i think miyavi makes visual kei fun..rather than trying to turn it into a stereotypical depressing and horrorific style...

I agree. He approaches it differently and adds a new light to it, which is what this genre really needs. Visual Kei has never been all dark and gory...bands like Gazette, Alice Nine or AnCafe show that. But it's the image of low quality music that has to have the visual component to attract attention that needs to be changed. And I think Miyavi can do just that. Change peoples minds.
