Problem With Ipod And I Tunes unable to update ipod... please help

So somehow all my songs on my ipod deleted and now when i try to sync the ipod with itunes i get a message that says

Songs on the Ipod "Owner's Ipod" cannot be updated because all of the playlists selected for syncing no longer exists

can anyone tell me how to fix this please?

Try doing a ipod restore:

http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/five_rs/

Just choose your OS (Windows or Mac OS), then Ipod, and then restore on the website and it will give you detailed instructions. Hope this helps!

its not the ipod..
its the itunes.. but thanks anyway

you said ipod first! i'm confused as to what the problem is now - your first post definitely says ipod 4 times..

seriously, do the restore in itunes - it fixes most problems I've had
