yeah...it can handle it (both x86-32 and x86-64 versions).
the amount of ram is on the minimum side though.... so it could be a bit sluggish cuz of that. (recommend 1-2gB ram).
do you have an upgrade option for your laptop to vista? (laptops bought within thte past few months get free upgrade to vista) cuz that would be pretty cool. but if you have xp home...you'll get an express upgrade to vista home basic, which sucks.
