I love country. I listen to mostly neotraditional country artists, but I listen to more mainstream country songs as well. I'm not really into country pop (ex. Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood). But yeah, here are some of my favourites (the songs in red are ones I "recommend"):

Alan Jackson - Midnight in Montgomery
Alan Jackson - Tequilla Sunrise (it's a cover of an Eagles song)
Blaine Larsen - At the Gate
Blaine Larsen - How Do You Get That Lonely
Blake Shelton - Playboys of the Southwestern World
Brad Paisley - Don't Laugh At Me

Brad Paisley - Good Morning Beautiful
Brad Paisley - Little Moments Like That
Brad Paisley - She's Everything
Brad Paisley - Whiskey Lullaby
Brooks and Dunn - I Believe
Brooks and Dunn - Red Dirt Road
Cross Canadian Ragweed - Long Way Home
Cross Canadian Ragweed - Pay
The Eagles - Desperado
Garth Brooks - Friends in Low Places
Garth Brooks - She's Everything
Garth Brooks - The Thunder Rolls
George Strait - You Know Me Better Than That
George Strait - Cross My Heart
Hank Williams Jr - Dinosaur
Hank Williams Jr - Family Tradition
Hank Williams Jr - Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound
Joe Nichols - Tequilla Makes Her Clothes Fall Off
Joe Nichols - What's A Guy Gotta Do
John Michael Montgomery - The Little Girl
Josh Gracin - Nothing to Lose
Josh Gracin - The Other Little Soldier
Josh Turner - Would You Go With Me
Josh Turner - Your Man
Keith Urban - Country Comfort
Kenny Chesney - Back In My Arms
Kenny Chesney - How Forever Feels
Martina McBride - Concrete Angel
Montgomery Gentry - Some People Change
Randy Rogers Band - Kiss Me In The Dark

Tim McGraw - Grown Men Don't Cry
Tim McGraw - Last Dollar
Tim McGraw - Please Remember Me
Toby Keith - I Ain't As Good As I Once Was
Toby Keith - I Wanna Talk About Me
Uncle Kracker - Memphis Soul Song
Wade Bowen - Before You Go
Wade Bowen - In My Soul
Wade Bowen - Who I Am

"Who I Am" is bolded because it deserves to be. biggrin.gif

Oh yeah, and "Take It Easy" by The Eagles is a good country rock song. One of my favourites from The Eagles.

Oh gosh, country music is so popular where I'm from! Seriously. Every time you turn on the radio, that's all you'll hear. People are so crazy about it, even my parents... I've grown to like it a bit. It's comforting when I'm homesick or something. It reminds me of people I grew up around.
