i might replace my laptop soon since its slowing down.. i got an acer now... its about 2 years old. any suggestions? not the kind u build on ur own, but like a vaio or mac book.. i like mac thing is people say that it's not so user friendly, not all the programs software and hardware can be used and its hard to put stuff in.. i dont really know.. i heard HP was ok.. anyone know what a good model is right now? not too pricey just right, something that can be used on a daily basis. im not a gamer type but i play games once in a while those small games, mostly its for typing, photoshop, watching videos, surfing the web, music that kinda thing. any recommendations? should i wait some more? would really appreciate the help thanks!! ^^

So are you saying you want a pre-made notebook? Sounds like that's what you are looking for. Why not build one yourself using Dell or other brands?

Anyways, with Dell, you get the best bang for a buck, with the right coupons and sales. For what you are doing, you could get a Mac and dual boot it with windows if you want to do it, if not then don't get it unless you are going into the media field.

Every company makes good computers but if you want one that'll last a long time, I'll say go for a Sony or Toshiba, or you can get an LG, but those cost way too much just like Sony.

Btw, you could have just asked this in the notebook sticky.
