1) Exercise sometime before u go to sleep, sweat a lot. (do it in the afternoon)
2) Don't sleep right after dinner. 2-3hrs should do fine.
3) Don't lay down on your bed before you actually want to sleep.(i mean like your reading a book on your bed)
4) Don't think negatively, for example 'ooh man, i know i can't sleep today'. Don't worry to much.
I think theres more.. but i forgot. But i don't recommend you taking pills whatsoever..

So yeah, my advice would be to sleep when you start feeling sleepy. And not thinking too much might help too. If you think, "I'm sleepy.." or just have light thoughts, you might fall asleep more quickly.

get up, do something relaxing (reading, watching TV, cleaning =/) You have to try to associate your bed with sleep...so like don't do homework on your bed etc. I learned this is psychology last year and it was one of the most useful things I got out of the class.

Are you sure that would help? It seems to me, it'd just damage the eyes XP.
As for me, I have the same problem. I don't want to take any medication and I'm not currently stressed about anything. Hoping Soompiers will be able to help out

What I at least try to do is watch something , some really boring show and sometimes that helps. I'm still looking for other ways though like you , haha.

I know no one likes to pop pills every night, but just for like 2 or 3 days until u get use to the time. Then you'll fall asleep easier. Worked for me =]

exercise helps, too. the week i quit jogging, i started sleeping even later than before -0-
