I'm sorry for asking a weird question. I'm just worried that maybe I'm acting weird entirely. I don't think I should be knitting like my grandma at this age....he he.

But does anyone else do that or make your own clothes? I think it'd be pretty to make your own clothes, but I have a bad sense for evening things....EGH.

I don't want to sound mean or anything since people misunderstand me when I type.....heh heh...^^v~

(if this topic is bad or anything, please feel free to delete or remove or do whatever you please with it since I'm just asking a question, it's ok.)

I knit - but I only make scarves.. haven't made clothes yet. I can also sew, but I generally just sew if I need to fix one of my clothes or something..

There's actually a poll already.

It knit too, I don't see anything wrong with it. I can crochet, but I learned years ago so I doubt I can remember. For sewing, I can sew by hand but I don't know how to use the machine.

I don't think it's weird at all~ I knit, but only make scarves... not advanced enough to make sweaters or anything like that. But knitting while watching tv, or on a long car ride is really fun, and you get a nice scarf out of it! :-)

No, I don't think it's weird at all.
I do all three. ^^
But I don't make clothes.
I knit and crochet scarves, and I sew tote bags. =)

I started to knit but then i stopped because it took very long. I had really thin needles and really thin yarn! I want to pick it up again and make a hat!

I knit and crochet too, but only scarves. I don't think I'd make clothes because personally they're ugly. But I do love knitting scarves. This year I made 0, but last year I made like 4 (for myself. selfish me). I love grandma activities too. I also cross-stitch and sew/quilt.

If you're a beginner, you should start with fat needles and fat yarn. Thinner needles in addition with thin yarn is going to be more difficult.

i know how to knit. i made scarves before but i tend to give up after awhile b/c it takes soo long.

the thing is, when i knit, i sometime mess up a part like forgetting a loop and then i don't know how to fix it. then i have a hole in my scarf and i don't want to continue

can anyone tell me how to fix that loop you miss

Interest topic lol, I crochet it's much faster for me than knitting. But I can also knit and sew. I learned all three in six grade or something because we had subjects like that after during lunch time. I crocheted lik about 10+ scarf in high school for my friend. It's alway nice to see my friend wearing my scarf on a cold day ^^.
