I used to never condition my hair.. and now that I moved, and it's winter time, my hair has gotten really staticky. I condition it 2-3 times a month now and it's fine. Or, you can also buy Paul Mitchell's serum and apply it to your hair. It temporarily stops the static until your next wash ^^ I hope that helps.

I thought staticky hair meant that it was dry?
Usually I just put some water in my hair. xD

"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don't much care where--" said Alice.
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go,' said the Cat.

Though it makes for fun times when you're bored in class and you bring your finger close to your hair to see it be attracted, puahaha.

try smoothing your hair down with a dryer sheet.

Use a smoothing serum. A little goes a long way. Try to not use creams etc..as they will only weigh it down and make you look like you have pancake hair. Find a light serum. There are a lot of cheap good ones out in the market.

that happens to me too during the winter.
to tame the flyaways you can buy fabric softener sheets (the ones for the dryer) . buy the ones w/ scent so that it'll also make ur hair smell good. then run a sheet on the front sections of the hair, then in between and finally the last section. this will work cus the fabric softener sheets are used to prevent static in clothing (in addition to softening it)...so it should do the same to ur hair.
and then to maintain the unstaticness
you can try:

loll it looks ambiguous...but its really good, EXCEPT the price...
eek. BUT . check out the reviews on Drugstore.com (CLICK!)

goo0d luck!~
