To my understanding, all you really technically have to do is get accepted to the school you want to go to and make sure your credits can transfer back to your school!
Anyway, I just studied abroad in Oaxaca, Mexico. Oh my god. I'm addicted to travelling and meeting people now. Not to mention I have SO MUCH better understanding of the Mexican culture and feel more intune with Mexicans here in Texas. Less awkward. Feeling free to speak spanish and just not wondering as much about their situation.

I want to study abroad in Korea to develop my language skills and the universities I applied to have mostly partnerships with SNU and Yonsei and one has Korea University. I really want to develop my speaking/conversation skills as much as possible rather than my grammar and I hear Sogang is good for this, but none of the universities I applied to have partnership with Sogang. :[ so can someone help me out and tell me what's my best bet?
I'd also like to mingle with locals in order to improve language skills.
thanks in advance!

I'm a business student so I'll most likely be taking course in Business or Economics at these schools.
Has anyone been on exchange for those schools, if you have please provide me with some feedback

I was referred here by somebody on another forum because I'm looking into studying Korea for a year. Specifically, my school has agreements with Sungkyunkwan, Hanyang, or Kyungpook. I've looked up all of them, but I'm looking for some actual opinions and/or experiences from others before making any decisions.
Particularly, I'm interested in Sungkyunkwan since several professors at my school have all taught there at one point or another.
If not Korea, I may look into the Ecole Polytechnique at Orleans.
Your opinions?

I'm going to Japan next year at Kansaigaidai University (hopefully).
DaRkwinGs, does your brother like teaching in Japan? I'm considering doing something like that. I'm not sure. I thought about teaching English.
If I like Japan, I might go again, but I want to look into going to Korea. East Asian Languages are my area of study, but I'm not sure what I want to do with it yet. XD
