Video Converter What is video converter u used?

I just want to know what is video converter that u used? I need a video converter to convert avi file to mpg for my mp4. Actually i m using xilisoft but it doesn't work for a lot of avi file... Can anyone suggest me the best video converter? Thank you...

Xilisoft sucked when I used it couple days ago. I use SUPER or WinAvi. Super is free while WinAvi is not.

Actually I'm using Xillisoft 3 for converting mp4 videos for my iPod, and yea~ it sometimes fail esp. in .rmvb and some .avi files. But ima say that it helped me, I converted 80% of my videos in iPod using XS.
I'm also using WinAvi & Cucusoft's DVD to iPod converter, it's my alternatives.

I use Jodix converter is free and easy to use.

yeah i use WinAVI. I never tried SUPER. maybe I should. even though SUPER is free and WinAVI is not; is it just as good?
