I'm not talking about changing the lighting in a picture... i just saw some serious photoshopping making a persons face smaller in a couple of pictures. I think changing the light of a picture is okay.. usually uhljjangs do it to hide their blemishes or whatever . Or sometimes its just to enhance the picture as a whole. But what im trying to say is when you fix a feature on your face for example to make your chin smaller.. you dont want it to be noticeable.

I know I'm right when i say that some of these people on this thread are not net idol material.

Now you correct me if i am wrong... uhljjang means pretty face right? or best face? so if you had an ugly feature on your face... [like flat noses... those things are hideous] then wouldn't it ruin the face as a whole? I mean i'm not saying that all these Viet net idols have ugly faces because of the nose but i am saying a couple of them have hideous noses which ruin their face as a whole. And if you don't think that then i guess you don't think that way. But if you look at most of the OTHER uhljjang threads, an uhljjangs face is almost perfect. And all of the features are like 98% perfect. so if you are judging the face.. and you have how many things to judge on.... eyes, nose, forehead, mouth, lips, cheeks, face structure, and skin.. . so if the nose is hideous then... it basically ruins the whole face if the eyes and mouth and skin were perfect.

yeah so i guess i am that person but at least i think about these things. And i dont think that its a shallow way of looking at people. i didnt say that they arent a nice person or a good person.. i just said that they dont fit to be an uhljjang and it makes them ugly... appearance wise. Or... to state it better it makes their appearance less appealing.
OR i just have higher standards then you. Because i know that i dont call just any one pretty or handsome.

but you have to admit that the 4 most looked at features are your eyes, nose, mouth and skin. if you have an huge big flat nose and everything is perfect you are like 75% there.. which is pretty average... to me.. thats not even close to what an uhljjang is.

Wow ok. about the whole noses thing. I'm sure you guys agree that a tall, small nose like that of Hyori, Ayumi, etc contributes much to a beautiful face. When you see Utada Hikaru (spare me I adore hikki!), you know that if she had that nose, she'd look twice as beautiful! Of course, not having such a nose doesn't lower your worth, but beauty-wise, I'm sure we are all affected by the Eurocentric idea that a tall, together nose is absolutely beautiful. and ... since the big, flat, or not very appealing nose is uhmm .. haha not very appealing, I do agree that it does kinda kill the face. Go photoshop Mikki's face and make her nose flatter or her eyes smaller, I'm sure that'll definitely make a difference in the face as a whole. I think you guys are just too concentrated on the fact that Lynna posted her opinions and not focusing on the fact that what she's saying is true ...

Well gee thats pretty mean to say that someone is fat like a cow, but truth is... the lady is probably FAT. Same goes for this... truth is... some of our claimed net idols do have not so pretty noses as compared to "THE WORLDLY STANDARDS OF SUPER ASWESOME HOTNESS/PERFECTION/WTF TTS NUDIE PIC MADE ME PUKE IN MY MOUTH"

BUT... LYNNA. It's sad, but truth is... Vietnamese take pride in their mediocrity and make it seem like it's the greatest thing on Earth. Case and point is Paris By Night... it's about the greatest show ever. I mean the pride of Viet entertainment since most of us probably have stacks of the show from show 1 to show 7062. (Exaggerated... I know.) Well what I can tell from Paris by Night is that the stars are not great at performing live, hence the lipsync, nor are they great at dancing, and they can't make up their own melodies as well as they can copy Chinese or Korean melodies and call it their own. Almost all the stars that I've noticed in Vietnam are mediocre compared to the worlds standards. But hey... it's Vietnamese... I just got back from an Andy Quach show with Nguyen Thang. *shrugs* It's just something that you'll have to accept and hopefully years from now Vietnamese people might not settle for falsehood and really try to compete with the world.

I actually agree with L0VE_LYNNA that some vietnamese don't have the nicest nose ever... I'm surrounded by Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese people everyday... so yeah.

I personally think that a person's nose is probably one of the most important features on their face, so yeah...
A lot of the people in this thread have pretty noses, though I can't say the same for others.
And honestly, the whole "ullzang" idea is already a shallow thing to begin with, so discussions about looks is inevitable.

stating an opinion or not, you're in a Vietnamese net idol thread so you're bound
to be backlashed by Vietnamese people.

I think a lot of viet has pretty noses, I don't know where some of you live but where I live there's a lot of pretty ppl of all asian ethnic who have pretty eyes and noses. I mean on occasion you see an ugly one, but that's inevitable. Ender, Bim Bim, Kelbin have pretty noses. I like a lot of viet noses here as well, just those 3 guys stand out w/ the noses, =].

About the nose issue, I don't think people should be saying some vietnamese people/ullzangs have the ugliest nose ever.
Same to the attractiveness of vietnamese in general.

Mind you, plastic surgery is not that common in vietnam. So most of these beauties (im talkin bout those who live in vietnam) are natural. Unless they r freaking rich and can go to korea for plastic surgery (yes vietnamese usually go to korea if they want plastic surgery since the ones done in vn are not considered very professional <-- becuz not a lot of ppl hav ps in vn, so common sense = not trusting vnmese plastic surgeons lol) , which still ends up to be a rather uncommon thing as they are still young and most viet parents arent really willing to throw up hundred of thousands to fix a nose or an eye.
Unlike in korea and japan, where the standard of living is much higher and they have more access to beautifying themselves. Im speaking from a subjective view based on the rate of teenagers having plastic surgery in korean/japan compared to vn.

So maybe if you think about it, there is a reason why a lot of korean/japanese ullzangs have a "pretty much perfect" face. Im not saying all of them are, but again having plastic surgery to fix a nose or adding some double eyelids or fixing a lil chin is more common there.
If you doubt it, then read more research and maybe try to go to korea and vietnam and live there for a few years then maybe you will understand.
