if it makes you feel any better about your broad shoulders, almost all runway models have semi broad shoulders in order to pull off all the unusual clothes they have to wear... their shoulders give an absolute horizontal line. i used to feel horrible when i had them until a friend just said that one day.. and even though i'm no supermodel, it did make me feel better about them afterwards.
edit: and DEFINITELY NO SLOUCHING! doesn't look good even on girls with normal shoulders. broad-shouldered people just look even worse when they slouch, thinking that it hides them. that is a big misconception because when you slouch, the shoulders fall foward even more, making you look even more top-heavy. plus it makes you look like a tom-boy. you should always pull your shoulders back.

If anything, that just totally made me day
Cuz Yeah, I have pretty broad shoulders too and always have a harder time (than those girls who dont have broad shoulders) when looking for the *right* kind of top...grrrrr.

Otherwise I like them since it makes me look healthy and athletic when I'm wearing tank tops. v neck and unstructured tops are good to wear.

& I'm not just exaggerating. My shoulders are probably 1/2 longer than an average chic's.
i used to HATE them like crazy but I was a sad, sad kid
i love them now that i'm skinnier and my shoulder blades/arms more defined.
and i love wife beaters <3

For me, not all v-necks help hide the big shoulders. Those with really wide v-necks cuts are bad for me. I find that deeper and skinner v-neck cut helps. Cap and puffy sleeves are my enemies, but depending how the neck cut is or how I layer it, it might actually look flattering. 3/4 and longer sleeve helps tone down my shoulder.
You can also layer different type of pieces to hid your flaw; no matter what kind of neck cut it is.

to hide my shoulders, if i have to wear a T, i get medium, even though i can fit small, so the T's look like they can fit me normally and hid my triangle look x--x
agreed with vnecks, because i remember my dad making me read this fashion article he saw in the costco catalgoue or readers digest or soemthing XD that said if your shoulders are broad wear vnecks so you can give the appearnce of a long graceful neck!
hide your shoulders, but accentuate your neck area so it gives you a long look! hope that helps
