hi everyone


few days ago i was discussing with my friends abour the internet browser we use, and i found out that most of us use firefox, but statics says that more than 80% of internet users use IE (internet expolrer)

so what are u using?? and which one u like thje most??? especially that lately IE7 took many options from firefox and add security options like anti fishing????

personelly i still like firefox, i don't know why but i don't feel at ease using IE, inspite that there are few websites that don't have the correct view unless we open them with IE so unfortune

I just use Firefox, and for websites that need Internet Explorer, I just use the IE Tab or IE View extensions for Firefox.
I havn't upgraded to IE7 because, well, I dont want to. I don't quite need it.

when i'm in school, i have no choice but to use IE.. I hate it. thats why if I can, I try to get on a mac. I like safari better than IE but firefox is my choice for surfing the web.

I use firefox for everything except when I go on to Clubbox. My school library has both options and, of course, I use firefox.

IE cannot beat FireFox because firefox has lots and useful add-ons that will kill IE.

i always use firefox unless i can't view something correctly, then i switch to IE for only that site.
there are way less pop ups and ads in firefox which i like.
but recently firefox has been so slow for me! duno why..

people will always have their preferences. ive read in pc magazines that firefox 2.0 is still the best, although i use slimbrowser. like i said, people will always have their preferences.

No question, Firefox. Its faster, more organized, and....everything.

It even has a plugin that lets you view IE only pages in a tab in FF.

Today my firefox wasn't working and I went crazy. I called up my brother and whined for 1 hr until he fixed it for me. OMG I can't imagine life w/o firefox now.

All my bookmarks & plug-ins got deleted (got one back, the colored tabs) so I'm here looking for that thread that had some plug-ins listed. Can someone link it?

true that people have their preference.

but speaking from a technical pov, opera wins hands down, according to the 'acid test' (see link below). firefox still beats IE by a mile, though.

ever since my computer was infected, i changed from IE to Firefox
i extremely rarely use IE now...i use it only when i m doing some coding on my xanga. and that's it.

firefox is suppose to be safer, so just go w/ that... even if u need IE theres a IE plugin for firefox etc.
