Ok so, i HATE pads!!!! urgh they are so disgusting! but im not sure if i want to do tampons, my friends say the string can come off and its hard to get out . also i heard about period undies but i dont know what they are. so what do you prefer?? give which one and pros and cons

haha..i ve been using pads all my life..im too scared to use tampons..like you mention and when you use tampons what if you forgot all about it you can die cause its been there so long..my lil sis uses it...and the undies i guess they are like pads..so i say stick with pads =)

pads, soemtimes you leak but same with evertyhing. we're girls so just deal with it. period undies ? odnt you have to change them anyways. so basiclaly same thing as a pad. just get the nice pads and you wont feel a thing

Wah... I hate pads too. They are soooo uncomfortable.

Pros of Pads:
Easy to take off. (Just stick on a new one. XD)
It's perfectly SAFE.

Cons:
Moves around.
Can leak.
Smells if not careful.



Pros of Tampons:
Won't feel a thing when moving around.
Hard to leak.
Can move around without worrying.


Cons:
Can get infected if not careful.
String may(hardly) come off.
First time can hurt.
May be problem when using restroom.



Period undies are just like normal underwear, but made of material that helps the period not the leak.
So you put your pad on the underwear and you'll have less chance of it leaking through your pants.

the think dat i dunt like about pad is dat when you stand up after you sit fo so long you can feel dem comin out ...

n we just gonna use tampon fo about 2 or 3 days, i guess it okie .. so i dunt have to worri when my period come ... hehe

pads are such a nuissssance!

Some of my friends says that they feel uncomfortable while they use restroom with tampons on. I'm not sure cause I only used it once. Guess it's not really a problem, but it can be if it's REALLY bothering you? *O*

for me, I like tampons; they are more comfortable and easier to dispose. Pads just feel like diapers and I always think I'm leaking or something.

Tampons > Pads

It's really hard for the string to come off a tampon...and they're so much more comfortable! With a pad, I always feel like i'm about to leak. You move around, play sports, etc, wayyy more comfortably. It might hurt the first time, but it'll be much easier afterwards. You can also go swimming with tampons. =)

And about period undies...don't know anything about that. =\

Never tried the period panties, but I prefer tampons over pads. They're a lot more comfortable, but only after you really learn how to put it in just perfectly, b/c if you put it in incorrectly or at the wrong angle, it'll feel horrible

they need some getting used to ,
but they are the most convenient for me

+ aren`t afraid of leaks ( need to changed every 4-5 hours)
+ feels a lot more comfortable ( large pads aren`t sticking to your vag.)
+ my cramps actually aren`t as strong as well
