Montgomery county in maryland is having our senior skip day on this day! is anyone else?

i live in hoco (ew moco tongue.gif). some of our seniors skipped today (2-5-07) as part of national senior skip day. our school's skip day is next month bc march doesnt have any days off.

Our actual "Senior Optional Attendance Day" is the Monday after Senior ball, haha.
Sucks.
But hey! It's second semester.. everyday is a senior ditch day ;D

I don't know when our senior skip day is.....I've never ditched class so I'm still debating.

Ours is tomorrow and we have friday & monday off so it's like a 5 day weekend...
except we had a snow day today so i suppose like 6 days.

I'm not skipping though. We have a delay so might as well go to school for like 5 hours.

who makes up 'this day' anyway? i always wonder that... but ours was like.. 2 weeks ago. I don't remember. But i didn't participate (sadly). Who was intelligent to make our senior ditch day on a monday? Friday would've made more sense. wink.gif dry.gif

the like "official & known" senior cut day for my school is like in april or may. LOL.

Our school's gay. We have it, but the teachers mark you absent anyway. -___-x. And you'll have an unexcused absense and you'll have to call and all that other crap. -___-x. and Our ditch days are our graduation year. Like, mine is 2008 so our ditchday would be august 8th, but we don't have school on that day anyway, so...-___-x. Unless we just make one up, then we don't have one. shucks.

Mine would be day of the grad dinner dance, i don't know if the teachers still mark you absent or not. Most of the teachers know where the students are any ways
