You could sell candy bars. Buy bulks from Costco, Sams Club, and etc, then sell 'em for a buck each. You'll make more money if you sell all of it in one day.
Another idea I saw at my school is hitting a junk car with a bat. If there's a rival game coming up, or whatever else you can think of, you can paint the car with that school's color and other stuff then charge people $1 per hit or two.

I'm going to basically steal ideas from my own school here but cultural clubs usually have a show where they have performances (singing, dancing, play), fashion show, etc highlighting their culture. It takes planning months in advance but if you do it well you can really rake in the dough. Especially one club, the Vietnamese Student Association, managed to have an up and coming Vietnamese singer perform at the show and made like.. thousands.
Or you can do something small such as screening films in an auditorium and just ask for a small entrance fee. My school has this night where they tell you they're going to play three of the most horrible movies ever but you can't find out until you pay the entrance fee and watch. And if you can manage to sit through all three films without walking out you get a refund. You can also have board games, video game tournament, etc. I think something with minimal set up for the masses that require an entrance fee.
Fashion shows are usually popular as well. Usually you can just have clothing donated from stores for the evening so you don't really have to pay for anything other than advertising and facilities for the most part. Dance marathons can also be relatively easy because you only need to pay for facilities, DJ, and advertising. The people ARE the event.
Hope that helps!

contact a local restuarant, ask if they bring a lot of ppl to go (like a promotion for their restuarant), if u could get 10-20% of the sales of that night. then organize your club to all go and bring their friends too.
that's what my club is doing.

The things that make the most, are probably staff pros. These, you're just working as staff at concerts and events, and if you're lucky you'll get to see a free concert. If you go in a group big enough you'll make quite a lot of money. It just takes a couple of weeks to receive the checks, but its a good amount.
another thing, is car washes. We can easily make 500 to 600 easily in one day.

You can have parties and have people donate money. Or charge for drinks at parties.
I've suggested cleaning people's room/houses for a fee :]
