you have to push yourself underwater with your arms i guess. I can't really give you a great detail of it but that's what i do. It's hard but it take practice. Good luck!

while you're treading water, take a deep breath and dive down. using ur hands and pull back from over your head down into your stomach, while kicking (once ur legs are in the water).

Good luck! haha i had to pull my 200lbs+ coach from 10 feet under, then drag him across a 50m pool sleep.gif that was when i weighed 120lbs

I don't really have any advice. I just wanted to wish you good luck. I am a lifeguard too, so I know how much work it takes to get certified.

If you put both your arms up over your head and hold your hands together, you should go down faster.

i personally like using the scissor kick when trying to get really deep

i also took a snorkeling test a couple years ago where i had to pull a 25kg block from 25 ft under, but its different since we were supposed to store air inside the snorkel tube thing...which was way too hard

the tip about blowing all ur air out or watever works but shouldnt be used. yes letting all the oxygen out of ur body wlil allow you to sink to the bottom but u have to release ur air little by little dont let it all out at once. just swim down not much to it then that
