They're kind of ugly but Tamrac has a lot of different sizes and colors... Plus it's not good to get bags with Canon or Nikon written on them because it makes it totally obvious that they have DSLR's in them... Thief alert

well, i have a canon backpack, compact and fairly comfortable, fits a body with lens attached, 2 big lenses + 4 small lenses. regular sized backpack, maybe a bit smaller than some of the backpacks ppl carry to school. but the only thing i dont like about it is that it's annoying having to take off the backback to get lens out switch.

this is what i have

it's not very fashionable, but it's comfortable to carry around and fits a moderate amount.
i can take my 30D+lens with a tele, 2 primes and a flash.
also has a small compartment to put small accessories like a lens pen, charger, rocketblower, etc.

i have this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller...egoryNavigation. its like the older brother of the bag you posted, and they're not that big. i can take pictures of it if you wanna see the inside etc.
but yeah if you plan on getting one try getting the starter kit off ebay cause it comes with the bag, a canon uv filter, and an extra battery for pretty much the same price as BH sells just the bag for.

hahahaa, the guy on the left has his lens cap on.
Ahh sorry that reminds me of my photography teacher. Great lad.
Anyway, yea, I started taking photography classes since 09/06, I've got a film slr but I think its about time I bought a dslr. I'm doing my final project at the moment with a normal digi cam with shutter and aperture priority but it kinda sucks to be honest. So I was thinking about getting a canon and one that would last me a good few years at least, so I thought maybe the 30D or 400D. As I'm still fairly new in the photographic world, I don't really know what to look out for. Opinions please?

depends on your budget, but if you can afford it, the 30D. with the rebates, it's worth more bang for your buck. i got mine for under 1K after rebates!

I'm thinking it's my memory card, but it might the the camera itself .... It been having a lot of "Corrupted Data" pictures with the picture have like half of it in a red/yellow/blue/whatever hue ...
Is it the memory card??? or the camera??

do you have any other memory cards? if so, you can try using the other card and see how the pictures come out in the 2nd card. if you dont have this luxury, take your memory card to the local camera shop and ask if you can take some snapshots and store them in your card. pretend you're a customer and you want to check out a few shots from a camera. take the pictures home and see how they come out.
most of the times, corrupt data ends up being memory card failure, but you'd have to test it out to make sure
it's beautiful there. i'd go there more often if i lived closer. but im up in LA, and it's a long drive to and back!
