They are owned by jews
I have nothing against jews.
But how do you close one of the busiest stores at 1pm?
and on Saturdays it's closed?
-__-''
It's a cultural/religious thing. Doesn't seem to be bothering business/profits any bit.
I must agree with Minji, that B&H sucks when it comes to post sales support. Its far worse when you go there in person than on the phone. Although for someone who has never gone there, it's definitely a sight to see as how they run their store. I've personally never seen a store like it. I think almost all the major stores are owned by Jews.

Personally, and well, currently I'm not-- (school projects are enough for now :x) but I attended this lecture once and there was a photographer speaking who had a series on these crocodile farm owners, and because of his own personal series, he got recognized/jobs. The photo editor of Time magazine was there too, and he said really unique personal projects grab his attention. (Oh, and when you submit, be creative) aha.

Well I recently did a project with some people from my photography club -- we took pictures of a specific subject (my group did food photography) and then we put the photos together into a collage. The thing is, I really hated doing the project because I felt like I was the only who actually cared about it... It would have been much better for me if I'd just done it alone. But yeah, that was a cool project when we finished.

I really have to go through it and delete some of the less interesting/blurry shots

When you have two cameras with 21.1 megapixels, it really does add up...

I wonder how much it would cost to have them replace it vs buying parts...

Actually I welcome it. 20+ mp is a good amount to get nice crops from; especially for large prints. This holiday 1tb drives are going for 100 bucks. Storage isn't a concern (for me at least). What I wish for though is faster memory cards which are more affordable.

18-55
Do you have a normal digi cam? Set it on 3x zoom and see how you like that, to me its quite annoying to work with. 55-200 means its like 3x - 9x zoom (correct me if I am wrong)

But how aggressively are you cropping? I mean unless you're cropping away 60% of your picture, you can still have a printable enlargement made from even cameras with moderate resolution. Personally, even if I upgraded my camera, I'd still end up shooting in the smaller RAW formats.
Plus, they still haven't proved they can cram all those megapixels into a sensor without messing up the noise levels.

I guess generally you're right. However better to cover all bases in case you actually need to make large crops and/or prints. But yeah, it wouldn't be that often you would actually need to. I guess I would be willing to sacrifice a few mp for more fps. That would be useful.
