i shot the above photo with the sigma 15mm fisheye, theres not much distortion on there cuz i removed most of it
what i find the 15mm fisheye on a 20D is that theres not enough distortion, if it was on a full frame, then it would be perfect

the biggest turnoff for that lens is the terrible softness at wide open, it is just horribleeee

So for a full frame DSLR, would you recommend the Canon 15mm f/2.8 or the Sigma 8mm f/3.5? O_O
And I didn't know your picture was taken with a fisheye because it doesn't really look rounded >_<
I want a fisheye lens - so cool T__T

5D and above are all full frame, I think...^^
Fisheye lenses are so cool - but I don't know if they're worth $600... +_+;

she looks like shes pissed at me!

and minji, for full frame i would go for the 15mm fisheye unless you want a complete circular image from the 8mm

i'd agree with the 15mm fisheye on a full frame.
also, the 1D series is a 1.3x crop.
the 1Ds is full frame, along with the 5D happy.gif

i think it's hard to really future proof your lens choices. buy what you need and sell later. hehe

Dang I thought the 1D was full frame... T____T
I really want a full frame camera (I mean not now but someday... >_<)
To think that my dad could have bought a 30D with the money he paid for a Kiss Digital X just bums me out =__=
I wonder if the 1Ds Mark III will ever be released... And there are rumors about a 3D as well...//

^You should put your own picture as the avatar! People might think you're a girl (I actually did at first because of the word feline - I don't know how that connected with femininity) >_<

I am going to the SD Zoo next Saturady (not tomorrow) and hopefully will have a decent picture or two to post up afterwards... If anyone wants to come join me, that'd be really cool too ^o^

She's so tall~ I'm jealous! I don't even want to be THAT tall,, Just a little bit taller T__T (I'm 5'3" =_=) But it kind of looks like she has high heels on (she's still tall without the heels I bet, but yeah) +_+

try boosting ur ISO to 200 or 400 next time. you'll get faster shutter speeds without too much compromise on noise. 1/30 is too slow considering your focal length and crop factor =)

hey i don't mind.. i realized it too.

but when you higher the iso you loose some of the sharpness.. i don't like grain.
i rather have it blurry than grainy.. i think some blurry pictures are nice
