Clubbox Won't Download. - soompi forums

Clubbox Won't Download. doesn't start downloading...

Hi,

When I click to start downloading a tvshow, the little box comes up, but it's BLANKIWHITE..
I think it' smy connection problem..
Right now it's on "automatic dectect settings" but it's still NOT WORKING FOR ME.

Can anyone help me??
What's wrong?
About a month ago I was able to download, but not now..

Maybe your internet explorer is lagging because you have so many cached files. Go to Tools > Options > Delete files (all offline content)

I'm not sure if those are the right directions because I haven't messed with the options in IE for a LONG time. I'm pretty sure it is tho. I'm also too lazy to click on the blue e

If I do that , will it delete all my "favourties" links that I saved?
I have 'favorites" for school stuff....

Try reinstalling Clubbox and also make sure you don't have a software firewall (like Window's Firewall, Zonealarm, Kerio, Norton Security etc etc) blocking clubbox from working.

You don't. Just install over the old one.

Edit: Eventhough IMO it's unneccesary for Clubbox, if you do want to uninstall it first then just go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. Scroll down to Clubbox then click the button to uninstall it.

If it still doesn't work then check your firewall settings as suggested in my previous post.

What you can do is delete the file that it was trying to download. Then delete that file off your clubbox and redownload it onto clubbox again. Or you can try other places to download similar file.

Usually when it doesn't download, it either means the file is really old.

NONO.... i mean...
you know when you click to download a tvshow forexample, some small box pops up and then it asks you to click to download==> that page is TOTALLY BLANK...

Have you tried this in different browsers? Disable your popup blocker and change your IE security setting to a lower setting.

I had the same problem, with the blank popup, but when I upgraded to 7.0, the downloads would stay at 0% for hours so I downgraded back to 6.0. Is there a problem that's not letting the downloads start?

yea i cant download clubbox with ie or firefox but maxthon works fine

i sometimes get that 0% for hours too but sooner or later it starts downloading
i just let it run overnight wake up in the morning and a few of the files are completed

^oh god. that just happened to me earlier! T__T; i had cb on for hours (like 6-7 hours) but the download percentage is like 19% then i noticed it stopped.

and now.. it even takes soo long to dl a 9 mb file.. (i was dling a 350 mb file earlier)

but yeah, i'll try checking out the firewall settings cuz i have my norton enabled.
