use a small pin to press in that hole..and it will open (dont always use this way to open your drive).

not really. Just try it again. If you push a paperclip into that pinhole correctly [perfectly straight in], the tray WILL eject. You can literally feel the "release mechanism" inside the pinhole if you use a paperclip. You have to push that release mechanism in with the paperclip to eject the try. Keep at it! Just make sure there isn't anything obvious that's blocking the tray's front lid like glue or whatever.

So was that DVD stuffed full of candy or other foreign stuff. If it was stuffed with debris, better go check your VCR.

try going to my computer, right clicking on the cd drive and click eject.
