Ride on Shooting Star
This was White Claudia's entry for TOKYO-NIGHTS: Battle of The Online Bands.

We had alot of fun doing this and we made some drastic changes like add dialogue and a guitar solo. Note the 'choir' like feel in the choruses.

White Claudia this time, consists of Jacky on everything. And Rai on vocals.

Dedicated to everyone with sponge pride.

I tried realyl hard and Jacky was flat out finishing it. He deserves 99.9% of the credit really. hahaha

The biggest problem was my lead and rai's vox.

there was alot of background noise on the guitar so I had to pump into 'overdrive' and ride out static.
Rai mic sucks.. I mean, it really sucks. Its like singing into a vacuum. T_T. There was so much air that it almost drowned out her vox. I fixed it in adobe audition by widening her vocals and adding a dynamic 'soft knee' mix so that it would sound steady, to get rid of all that air I had to push her vox to the limit and add ALOT of bass to drown out the hi-tremble hissing.

Which reminds me, if we make it to the next round, rai. put a sock over your mic when you sing. it'll cut out the air.

But rai, you carried this song. no one wants to hear a burned out punk sing about revenge lobsters lol I still get the shivers when you yell 'GUITAR' and than I bust into the solo. LOL

Wow Jacky_Knife guitar sounds awsome man. It drowned out Rai-Rai's vocals a bit, but she could still be heard. And I don't really listen to japanese music that much, but you got me bobbin my head to this hahah. Good job guys

wow rai you sounded so awesome, i love it. i love the spunk in your voice. yea the mic doest suck a bit lol.. i remmeber i used to use a sock covering over my mic too

and nice guitar playing on jacky's side, sounds totally fantastic. your mixing terms confused me haha

Jacky: rofl. Sorry. I use a headphone mic and it's like all bendy and tiny. I'll try covering it somehow. I'm glad I did okay. I picked up 45732423423 mistakes in my singing after putting it on repeat for 3 days hahaha
