Fudge man, I ran out of meal points yesterday, and am hungry as hell! I spent my last dollar on chocolate. Yup, lucky for me, it's that time of month. Cravings are out of this world. Anyone else in a similar predicament?
I am so excited for tomorrow. Meal points renew Sunday, yipee!

im kinda in the same situation as you. i'm not in the dorms so all my money goes to tuition, rent and utilities. i just found out i overdrafted on my account because some loser decided to cash a check i wrote him way later. i was totally fine until this happened.
now i gotta find a way to get money to pay back the bank what i owe plus the fee.
shiet.
i know...a lil fruity right? oh wells.

haha yeah i know what you mean. i only have 11 meal plan per week. i only eat twice a day which means i have to eat out 3 times a week. how's the food at your dorm?

AGREED! I have an apartment also and I'm just about dying. I try to think of meals to make with anything and everything I have left in my food stores, so some weird concoctions have to be made. And there's only so much ramen I can eat before getting sick of it. I miss meal plans and dining halls where food was just laid out in front of you...

that's funny that's all I ate this week also! 2 boxes of pasta and 2 jars of pasta sauce.
I usually try to eat twice a day, but sometimes it's only once. Same for me, it's not a choice I just don't have time in between classes and work to really eat anything.
whenever a friend offers me a guest meal to eat in the dining hall with them I completely engorge myself. I eat three meals' worth and don't eat the rest of the day. And I always try to slip some fruit into my bag. Having a free meal at a dining hall is just jack pot

Weird, I had the opposite problem last quarter. By the end of finals week, I had 25 meals left that I didn't know what to do with.

I live at home so I commute to school.
People think that I'm so lucky since I have my parents to cook for me, but truth is they HARDLY ever cook.
I guess I am lucky that they buy food for me, but I really miss their homecooking. They used to cook all the time when I was younger.
They work from afternoon to night, and they are always tired. I don't know how to cook but I really want to learn. I only know how to cook one dish so far. =(
My stomach growls in class too. My friend was laughing at me. T_T

When you're running low on mulah, its time to start getting creative. Some pizza places offer a free pizza after a certain number of pizzas are ordered..So. The plan? Ask around your hall and see if anyone wants to order a pizza, If you get like 5 or so, the 6th is free, so you get a free pizza for placing an order for your friends! Another way to eat is to go to like a costco or sams club, they offer like free samples

i have 10 meals a week but i go home on friday noon (without eating lunch on campus)
i have class until 8pm on tuesdays and thursdays and unfortunately the dining halls close at 8
sooooooo if i eat breakfast and lunch the days that i can make it to a meal, i'm usually fine.
the food here at ucr is nasty though
so i eat cup ramyun. ahha

I know what that is like, but at times I go 3 days without eating because I need to study or it's way to cold to walk to the store and pick up some food.

I lived at home and I still don't eat. I have class at 7:00am in the morning all front and back till 1:00pm. Work Study from 1:30-4:30pm all week. I have evening night class too. When I get home from school its like 10pm and then I have to cram in with studies too. Btw, my family is huge so they eat about everything. Our fridge is always empty. I only have like 2 meals or only one meal a day...water makes up the rest of the meals I miss.
