you shoul stretch more... yoru thighs are grettign beiger since yoru muscles are getting bigger =)so try yoga =)

streatching isn't always easy but if you slowly try o_o and you'll grow your flexibility just stretch right after your cardio =)
here was this video i saw once called yoga for teh inflexible O_O

Running is not gonna make your thighs thinner....ever seen a professional runner with thin thighs?
Try doing some pilates to make your legs more slim.

Yeah, you're gaining muscles in your thighs. That's what happened to me after I joined intensive school soccer. And it's pretty freakin' hard to lose that muscle >_<. If there was a definite way to lose thigh muscle, I would have snatched that up years ago. All I can do is try to make them look less defined. Here's what you need to do:

- STRETCH. It doesn't matter if you're not flexible. Stretching will loosen up your muscles so they don't look as bulky. For thighs, I'd say do lunges, calf-muscle stretches, and the thing where you grab your foot in the back with an arm and pull.
- Swimming- really helps tone and distribute things evenly
- Yoga/pilates- same concept as the stretching

What you need to avoid:
- Sudden spurts of running (short sprints)- this will make your thighs larger.

yeap i agree. my sisters thighs are like that .. she's a cheerleader .. and contrary to popular beliefs it's an intense sport.

oh damn>.< i totally noticed the same thing wheni started goin the gym nd doin an hour or so of cardio...plus i gained weight!! wont yoga just tone you? it wont necessarily slim down your muscles, hmmm...??

well, working out won't make you thinner for sure. when you exercise, you get bigger. the only way to actually get thin is to go on a diet or just eat right. my sister says squatting would help your thighs get thinner or sit on a wall without a chair for like 10 minutes. happy.gif

Yeah, I used to do dance and cross country and when I did, I slimmed down, but my thighs got huge. I've been inflexible for a long time and didn't stretch as much as I should have, but I'm about to take up yoga and thinking about taking up dance again.

hmm i do squats, leg lifts, lunges, calf raises and stretch & stuff.. My thighs are quite toned. They still feel big though sad.gif i hate them but i guess its better than jiggly.... I tried losing weight but i don't lose it where i want to...

Yoga makes you more flexible.
Pilates tones your muscles (makes them longer/leaner)
