I breaked for 3 years, and popped for 1 year. I love popping more than breaking. It's A LOT more fun to do.

Haha People call me a powerhead but i have more foundation then most bboys. I started for the first 2 years with footwork and dancing, and for this year ive been powerheading my head off. I have mostly the basics down. Forever swipes, forever mills, forever flares, and combinations all around. Have hopping flares, Airchair flares, An airflare, 2 Elbowairflare, Combination 90s, 1 handed elbow airflare, side spin, backspins, turtles, crickets, jackhammers. so yea. Im pretty into bboying. lol

i've been dancing for around a year too. i was a bboy for like 6 months (got down some footwork, top rock and swipes and a baby freeze) but i kinda hit a wall when i was doing more freezes and handstands. i didn' thave the flexibility for it. like seriously, you dont' want to know how unflexible i am lol.
anyways, and then i've been learning popping for the rest of it lu. i'm getting ok at it but i love popping. but my waves arent clean yet lol. giving me a headache atm (had a 1 hr session today just on waves and still not getting them clean lol) i can't wait till my lesson this sat so i can clean my technique up. I'm hitting ok and hitting hard too, but still working on musicality and angles. Roboting looks pretty kool. and freestyle just needs creativity lol. so yea i'm bascially still fresh into popping business. oo and my style is pretty "stiff" atm lol so i look like a robot popping hahah
anyways keeep in touch peeps! and post some vids one day, want to see how you guys doing. especially you wanki, want to see you pop. lol i'll be going to my gf's prom soon, so i'll try to take a vid down of me freestyling a bi tbah.

you jin this is bboy heat ive sorta have the same story been foundation and style for hella long but always had a little power just the basic flares mills babymills jacks headspins 90s 2000s, and side spins. but i having trouble with my elbo flare to my 1.5 airflare do you do 1.5s? im also working on hopping 90s i got like 1.5 rounds but i keep losing balance even though im perfectly poise di think it scus i dont have enough speed any suggestions?

You have to be more specific when asking how did we start. Do you mean what got us started? Who inspired us? Or do you mean: What did you first learn to get started?

Popping is a different form of hip-hop dance. Just look up Nam Hyun Joon for a good korean popper. I'd say Jr. Boogaloo is better, but he specializes in tutting.

I've been bboying for a little over a year now, but I stopped a few times along the way because of low motivation. Everyone says I'm a fast learner, but because of that I caught up to everyone around me and couldn't find anyone to compete with. I like competing with people who are better than me so I work harder to be better than them.

I have a lot of freezes down and I mainly focus on balance in my bboying. I'm currently learning how to 90, flare, and get more 1-handed hops. My best power would have to be: No-handed mills or crickets. My best freeze would have to be my threaded pike or my 1-handed hanstand.
