Okay so I'm with Verizon wireless. And I'm looking up some random phones I like from plemix and yesasia. And some say
Network: Triband GSM/GSM 900/GSM etc...
What does that mean? Does it mean that if I buy it, it will still be compatible with Verizon? I don't have a korean place where I live so no hope in getting it in with verizon illegally XD

Verizon runs on CDMA, in the US the major carriers on GSM is T-Mobile and Cingular. The other minor companies carrying GSM I don't really look into. But IMO Verizon phones strips down alot of the functions offered in the orignal model. Also if you're importing a phone, most likely most of the MMS, GPRS etc. functions is going to be disabled due to different regional settings.
