I'm estimating i should finish it in about 3-4 days (FULL DAYS/ 6 hrs a day) since TOK and World lit were about 1000-1500 words each and i finish those in 4-5 hours each..although i have to read my sources as i write for this... =/

tell your adviser that s/he is full of crap. when i say that "they said it was fine" i meant both my adviser (with over 10 years of experience mentoring for EE) and the actual IB organization who gave me a B (which means i got my 2 pts towards my diploma)

which part? the 3 languages part or the university entrance part?
I know some IB courses are treated as first year university, and some universities around the world are willing to grant you admission so long as you have a diploma, regardless of how many points you have.

if u r good at bs-ing,, u will excel in IB
seriously
u pull all nighters and all
but the courses itself arent exactly the hardest thing u will ever do
i think anyone can survive IB
it's painful,, but it's not hard
hahahahaha
i dunno if i make sense
hahaha, thats actually really true. especially on the english exam...bsing is actually the only thing needed to pass it.

what can I say about the program? Well, I had great teachers. Is it hard? It's hard, but not hard enough to overstress myself with. Overall, being in IB really helped me, because the regular classes seemed so easy compare to AP/IB classes. You may not receive the best grade (your own fault, probably) but with the right teachers, being in IB really help you, especially to study for college.
and I can also say that the exams aren't hard at all. You just need to know your stuff. If your teacher hands out exams from years before, look over them and familiarize yourself with the way the exam is and you probaby ace it with a 4 or higher.
also don't PLAN or even think about slacking off in IB classes.. big mistake for me.
EE, IA, and all the readings... that what really brough many people down.
If I have to choose between Time and Procrastination, I'll choose Time, but Procrastination will always get me. How unfair life is.

Because my friend said it was for three years, and 150 hours doesn't seem that bad over the course of three years.

No..it's over your two IB years (11 and 12), not pre-IB.

You get them from your final IB exams, combined with internal assessments to be handed in at the end of your IB year 2. For example, if you're doing history, you'd be doing an "Internal Investigation," essentially a research paper. For English if you're doing HL, you'd be doing 2 "World Lit" research papers. For Science courses, you'd be handing in all your lab work. You're rated from 1 (lowest) and 7 (highest) for each course, and then you get bonus points for your TOK Final Essay and Extended Essay combined, giving you anywhere from 0 (lowest) to 3 (highest).
Maximum for a diploma is 45 points.
From: http://www.ibo.org/diploma/assessment/results/
The diploma is awarded to students who gain at least 24 points, subject to certain minimum levels of performance across the whole diploma and to satisfactory participation in creativity, action and service (CAS).
