Well for Creativity, you can try dance or like art classes.
Action, maybe join a community sports team you really like.
And Service....well that could be anything. Volunteering at an old folks' home, hospital, etc.
As long as you have it around 50 50 50 for each thing, you should be good to go.

Our class gt info about the IB program..I'm really interested in taking some of the classes..
So I want to take French SL next year..and the IB director and my counselor says I can and go onto French 3
but my stupid French teacher says that if I want to be French SL next year I have to be in French 4 this year to move on..So who's right? My teacher or IB director/counselor? But there's also a Frech HL for those who's in French 4 and will be moving on..So could I do it cuz this week we're choosing our classes for next year...
Plus can I do the Theory of Knowledge class if I'm only doing part of the program? I really, really, want to take it...

in order to take a foreign language SL exam you need to be in 4th year. so if you're 3rd year french right now, you could take it next year.
with TOK it depends on your school, but at mine partial IB students were able to take it.

My school is merging Mandarin 3&4 into one IB SL class. They level 3 people will have to take a fast track summer program before joining the class. As for TOK, everyone can take it if they want to. It is a must for IB diploma student though.

I need some advice cause my band teachers are trying to tell me it's not worth it. haha
And they're pretty convincing. But my own mind is convincing too, so I say what they say is a bunch of crap because they've never been in it therefore they don't understand everything.
Also.. if you really suck at math... would IB Math 1 be too hard?
Should IB Math studies suffice? lol
Would you get precal credit either way?

For Creativity:
Can I do like a school play or something
right?
Art Classes out of school I'm guessing?
For Action:
Is it possible to do a school sport
or does it have to be a community?
UGH! I feel so lost!
They haven't talked to us about any of this stuff!

All the counselors and teachers are just like, "YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT."
But they don't tell us any details or whatever, so I'm totally lost.
But my school sucks.
We just got IB program, so there aren't a lot of options.
We only have for creative/fine arts:
band, orchestra, art.
And .. I don't think we're required to do any action? or least they didn't tell us. LOL

It really depends on your school policies. Ask your IBC.
Ha. Don't get me started on ToK. Let me go straight to the point. Put ToK on the very bottom of your priorities list. It's just one of the many absurd things IB makes you do, along with group 4 projects and CAS essays. The sole thing you learn in ToK is that you learn nothing in ToK. In my school, the ToK gives you an A based solely on attendence. A normal class consists of attendence, the perpetual discussion on "what is knowing?" and studying time for Math HL.

Hmm not too sure about the school play stuff.
If it's for like a drama class, I don't think so. Because the hours you earn for CAS must be hours for doing things that does not concern credits.
But if it's an extracurricular activity, I'm pretty sure it's ok.
Otherwise, your list looks pretty good.
Sports: school sports teams should count towards it too, and community of course.

Also - I hate to say this, but you're better off with AP if you're going for American schools. But I live in FL, and it's most likely that I'll be going to an FL state uni/college.

I survived IB
I did HL bio, chem and maths and SL english, french and philosophy
yup... a kinda crazy HL combo and maths definitely KILLED. half the class came out of the Options exam in tears (me included) - the stupid head of maths at my school thought it was a good idea to do stats as the options *cries*
Anyways - wish all the IBers luck in the upcoming exams
Btw, does anyone feel that IB is kinda not regarded as highly as other high school qualifications? Well, at least in the UK they seem pretty clueless about it. I'm still kind of annoyed by it, because I had applied to Imperial college for a course which required AAB (or sth similar for A-levels) and that was the explanation they gave me when they rejected me -- though my IB grade was in the 40s!

They're actually telling you the truth. Most people don't even know what IB is or never even heard of it. It's being more widely known in the US now but it's still not as well known as AP. The only good thing about IB is if you're planning to study somewhere in Europe. Europe recognizes it more than America.
If you're planning to go for IB be prepare to not have a life, unless you're a natural student that can understand things easily and is willing to work the crap out of yourself.
It's not all that bad, I'm not trying to scare you. I guess I'm considered one of the "weaker" IB students. Well I was one, anyway.
I don't know what grade you will be in next year but if you suck at math and you're going to be an upcoming sophomore than Algebra 2 is like hell. I failed it miserably (not like FAILED) but yeah. If you're an upcoming junior then you should take SL math. It's easy as hell (well not really) but easier than HL. The only bad side to it is your project (I forgot what it's call) because you have to do it year round and then write a report on it and crap.
If you're an upcoming freshman (sorry not going in order) then it's pretty okay. It feels like it's hard because it's your first time and you're getting into high school but everything is pretty good.
Oh and if you take the SL math then your senior year you're not required to take any math classes but it would be in your best interest to take one, like pre-cal or stats.
Currently I'm attending a community college and I'm a junior in high school. I left mid-semester (dropped entirely out of IB, I was in full IB) and transferred to a community college. It has this program that lets me finish all my high school required courses while taking college classes at the same time to get my Associate's Degree. For me right now, my schedule is a lot less stressful than IB.
But yeah, if you really want to try it out then you should. It's really beneficial in a way because all the things that I learned in IB makes college seem so much easier. It's like a breeze. Vroom. XD
As hard as it was I'm really glad that I took it. I dropped out because I just can't handle it like the other IB students. I'm just not as smart and can't absorb information as well. I really enjoyed it, though. It was nice while it lasted.
And good luck to all the current/future IB students!

For Action:

UGH! I feel so lost!
They haven't talked to us about any of this stuff!
Action: if you play a sport then, if I remember correctly, you can count up to 30 hours of it max. I'm not exactly SURE if 30 is the correct number but that's what I remember them telling me. Even if you play the sports for more than 30 hours they still only count 30 hours out of the total.
Creativity: I THINK art classes count. I do remember them mentioning that. But not sure.
Sorry, not much help. I'm a retired ex-IB student.
And let me tell you, if you feel really overwhelm right now and if you feel like you can't handle it, I'd say drop down to partial or something. I was really stressed at the beginning of junior year. I thought that it was just one of those phase that I was going through like sophomore year. Then at the end of first semester I literally broke down and dropped entirely out of IB and changed schools to a community college with this special program.
I'm just not IB material. Rawr.
So yeah, that's my partial advice/rant/whatever it is.
