I have IB tests on all my AP exam dates & the make up dates! But I'm not down with AP. I'm not sure about the percentages either but overall, I bet it was fine.

SO, I just took Math SL Paper 1 and OH MY FREAKING GOODNESS! That was absolutely ridiculous. I've talked to another IB school the next town over and everyone is sure that they got at MOST a 1! I'm so frustrated right now, I don't know if I should scream or cry. Which math do you take?

LOOOL. I know EXACTLY how you feel. I practically BOMBED that freaking exam. I couldn`t get past most of the exam. I think I completely bs`d the rest of the exam.. I didn`t even know how to start some #.
It was 20 minutes in, and I was like...... I still have an hour and 10 minutes left and I have NO idea how to do this crap. I take Math SL, same as you. Everyone in my class was horrified when we came out of the exam.

And I thought it was already bad enough that I didn`t get a break after the AP English Literature and Composition exam to eat my freaking lunch. =_= I actually had to leave the Lit exam 10 minutes early (because I was finished already) just to get back in time to start the Math SL...

I don't think we can um...discuss the actual test for another 24 hours but I doubt IBO will come looking at soompi, haha. Just to be on the safe side though. =) That SUCKS so bad that you had it back to back like that! Man, you couldn't even scarf down a granola bar in between? Haha. I was kind of late for my English exam bc I wanted to get breakfast and I was seriously chewing on my breakfast sandwich while walking into the exam room. The adults gave me the dirtiest look but nothing comes between me and my breakfast, lol.

But, noo. I didn`t have any time to even eat anything. It was walking back from the church (basement where we were taking the AP Lit because there were too many people to fit in 1 room in the school :P) and then heading straight to the library to begin Math SL 1. ]:

Just wondering, what classes do you take?

I'm Linda, btw, and my HLs are history of the americas, english, and psychology. My SLs are math, biology, and spanish.

This week has been HELL for me. I have nine exams in one week. Next week I only have English, which is my best subject and then four days off! Yay! Then I have spanish and psychology. I'm sooo tired already, hahaha.

Math Paper 1 wasn't too bad. Part A was decent but part B was...a lot harder. Whatever, just one more exam left this week! Can't wait for the weekend!!!

One more math exam! Yay! I'm on facebook right now and my ENTIRE senior IB class and two other senior IB classes from the next town over all have statuses either 1) cursing the IBO/Cardiff or 2) cursing the math exam. We're all dreading it down here.

I think I only have English, Spanish and History HL? -not sure- I don`t get to pick to take HL/SL classes. The IB coordinator does the HL/SL registration for us.. And I don`t have the sheet with me right now. :P

We just finished Paper 2 for Math SL. I think it was decent.. Lol. Better than Paper 1, at least.

The first week is hell. ]: The second and third week are okay. I have two days of no exams next week.

Our teachers give us recommendations for HL/SL classes sophomore year bt we ultimately choose our own. Paper 1 was horrendous. I've talked to four other IB schools in Florida and they hated it. There are also kids from other parts of the world who did horribly. But you're so right Shirley! Paper 2 was a lot better. I kind of wish I studied more for it than paper 1. I gave up last night and started playing Sims. XD

What Part III books did you read for english paper 2?

As I Lay Dying by Willy Faulkz, Beloved by T.Mo, Metamorphosis by Franz Kafkz, and The Awakening by Kate Chopin. We have nicknames for the authors of the works we read, lol. I read Master Harold last year and I liked it. =D

I know! I'm actually starting to get nervous even though English is my best subject. Hands down, I know I will get a six for sure, but part of me is just freaking out. Thankfully that's my only exam this week and then I'm going to the BEACH! I'm from Florida and this entire week has been 75-89 degrees, no rain, and perfect beach weather but everyone is stuck inside for IB exams or IB exam studying. =(

I'm gaining so much weight from exams, lol. All I do is eat, sleep, and study.

I'm only doing certificates for history, math, bio, and english. so no language or IB elective exams for me! haha probably the best decision I ever made.

Oh, ok, that makes sense, haha. All the IB kids I know go for the diploma, so I forget that there's the option to not seek the whole shibang. =D Have fun with your final exam!

Really? I heard from the Math SL students from my school said that it was "easy" o__o
Totally different opinions between yours and theirs, huuh.


Other than that, did anyone here take Math HL? The test was ridiculously whacked. Our school had never even covered 20% of the stuff on that test.
