i would recommend to practice writing using a variety of verb tenses. the short essays can end up sounding pretty bad when you use the same 3 tenses over and over and over lol

Spanish SL test is not hard! It would be if you didn't study! Just practice writing in spanish without using a Spanish-English dictionary and you'll be fine when the test comes up!
Just remember to know the past tenses and conditional etc...

Anyways, I signed up for the IB program, but I don't know if I'm "in" yet or not.
I was wondering when we find out whether or not we get it?
My parents are really against me going because it's hard, but I want to do it anyways.
But reading this thread makes me jealous xO
The school I'm going to only has French/Spanish/Vietnamese, and we have the WORST electives ever. Only music, art, drama, & the extra science classes.
D: Well if I get accepted, I'm probably going to be going back to this thread, to complain of course

Oh alright thanks.
Because lol I'm not artistic, and art or music subjects are just like HUH to me. Haha.
And yeah I'm going to be taking pre-IB next year, because at the school I'm going to it's mandatory and then for grade 11/12 I can choose full IB, partial, or just regular class.

That's how my school is. It's pretty good, because when I changed from pre-IB to full IB, it wasn't so much of a shock.

thats basically what my senior friends have been telling me, its like they work 29304239 times hard and yet .. next year when they go off to college their dorm mate will basically have no idea about how hard they had to work and yet still get in to the same school. but i think in the long run ib helps you get use to the college standard and worth ethics .

yeah i know what you mean, it depends, lol IB is a hard course, and its meant to be spread out, some people however are just strong in say math-science, and weak in history-english, and IB might not be for them, thats what my guidance counselors suggested too, if a person is really advance in a subject, then maybe they should just stick to having say an AP Math-Science schedule and an honors english and history.

anyways...im not in IB ..yet
at our school there is something like a pre-IB and it prepares u with honors classes and stuff..
im not in that either...hahas...
im wondering...should i join IB when im in junior year?....
becuase from a lot of people i heard from IB is really hard...few people get the diploma
and your gpa will tend to be lower than other peoples?
correct me if im wrong...
so im wondering if i should even join...
my average grades are A's....
but im not a well rounded student and my weak point i math...
any advice from u graduates?
and...cuz i heard from my cousins...not all schools even have the IB program
so is it even neccessary to bother?...
