for creativity i took piano lessons. but at my school it could also be like helping put together an event or something. art classes or cooking classes probably count too(:

Wow, you completely screwed yourself over by leaving it to the last minute..
I've begun researching for my EE now, and it's not due til this time next year +___+
By the way, what topics did you guys choose?
My topic for the EE has been finalized as being Physics, but I'm not sure what to do within Physics.

Oh? I consider two and a half weeks as leaving it to the last minute ><"
Maybe it's because my school pushes us to do little bits over a long period of time and not cramped into a few weeks.. Meh everyone's different =]

^ I actually took the Bio one because the school I went to my senior year didn't have Chem. But I did Chem Junior year and this book was decent. It wasn't as detailed as the bio one but a good review book nonetheless.

I know but honestly it sounds really unrealistic.
I mean 98% for a 7 is not true. If you read the cut offs for 2008
A 7 for most subject is 80% ....

Honestly, my school, they got rid of the AP and forced all the 'upper level' students to take IB and..
well, I was thrown in it without knowing the details. Lol
I'm thinking all can be achieved in school.. but .. what would be sufficient for the Service portion?
And how much of each do you need?
Dang. I just realized how incapable our counselors are.
There's the IB coordinator.. but.. she really doesn't.. tell us anything. Lol

If you're not signed up for the program and I don't think you'll have to do the CAS hours.
Just in case though, I do believe its...
25 Creativity Hours <-- Anything that requires creativity
25 Action Hours <-- Anything that requires physical "challenge"
100 Service hours <-- Volunteering/community service?

So you pretty much.. just make sure you keep track of whatever?
And yeah, I'm in the program.
They.. half forced me to.
Okay, well, they forced me to, but I was gonna sign up anyway. Lol
Rather do the IB program than take all regular classes and suffer the idiocy of the kids in the regular classes. No offense. But really. Omg. =__=;
So far, I'm feelin' the hard work of IB. It's already exhausting. haha XD
On top of that, I have tutoring at late hours for math and SAT and other than TOK as an after school 8th period for two days, on two OTHER days I'm taking another 8th period after school. So I have 8 classes 4 out of 5 days.
Plus Junior executive commitee stuff before school.
And my school starts early. 7:30 to be specific.
Life sucks.

I just entered the 11th grade. Only been at school for 4 days and I already feel like I have so much homework. >_<
Double block calculus is NOT FUN! Dx
And social anthropology requires a lot of reading and writing too.

Where can I get an official copy of the HL Biology syllabus? My teacher said to download from ibo.org but it's not there @_@.
Also, my school changed the IB CAS to short term, medium term, long term etc and each task/project/activity has to have ALL C,A, and S. Any other schools who do this?

yeah.. it's really hard to earn CAS hours now, in my school. >w<;; but, basically, hours don't count anymore, which just sucks. you need to "apply" yourself more, in tasks such as habitat for humanity, etc.

I thought it was 50 hours for each?
